BOOK REVIEW by Adam
Fisher
The Red Kayak is a well-written mystery
by Priscilla Cummings. One day, Brady is pulled out of school to help find his neighbors, Mrs. DiAngelo and her son Ben, after
their kayak sunk while they were out on the river. They are both found, but Ben later dies of ammonia. Life goes on for Brady,
until he discovers terrible truth behind why the kayak sank, now he must decide what to do. If he tells, both his family and
friends will be changed forever, but he also feels that he can't hold onto his secret andy longer. This story is full
of twists and turns at every corner, you'll never see them coming. I always felt engaged by this book, and was never bored.
I would recommend this story for anyone who likes mysteries, or just wants a quick read. I give this book an eight out of
ten.
